Your know your living in the country when....I'd been outside working, came inside for lunch and washed my hands.
Went to dry them on my towel, when what should catch my eye but this little fella.
He was placed outside after the photo shoot.
And yes I realise this could happen anywhere, but this happened here.

Lazy summer days.
Had some good rain recently.
All animals doing fine.
Mobile butcher arrives on the 30th of January to turn pigs into pork.
He arrives with a portable coolroom, slaughters the animals and hangs them in the coolroom. The next week he returns and cuts them into conventional freezer sized pieces and then takes his coolroom back.
